Prime Minister busy in Secretariat after Eid holidays

The Secretariat has become busy again after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has been spending time in the Secretariat since morning on the first working day after Eid. He entered the Secretariat today, Tuesday (March 24) at 9 am.
It is learned that Krishna Srinivasan, Director of the Asia and Pacific Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister earlier in the day. After that, she will participate in a meeting on the country’s economic situation and challenges.
At 11 am, the Prime Minister will participate in a special meeting on solving the long-standing ‘traffic jam’ problem in the capital Dhaka and modernizing traffic management. In the afternoon, she will participate in a meeting to review the progress of the Foreign Employment Increase and Expatriates Welfare Committee. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will review the overall activities of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and later hold a meeting with officials of the Cabinet Division.
