Prices of all types of fuel oil increased

The prices of all types of fuel oil have been increased in the country. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has increased the prices of all types of fuel oil by Tk 2 per liter from December through the automatic price adjustment mechanism.
This was announced in a notification issued by the ministry yesterday (November 30). The price of diesel per liter has been fixed from Tk 102 to Tk 104, octane from Tk 122 to Tk 124, petrol from Tk 118 to Tk 120 and kerosene from Tk 114 to Tk 116.
The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has announced that in order to ensure the supply of fuel oil at a relatively affordable price in December in line with the decrease/increase in fuel oil prices in the world market, in light of the revised pricing formula for determining fuel oil prices at the consumer level automatically every month in the country, the selling price of diesel has been increased by Tk 2 per liter to Tk 102 from Tk 104, the price of octane has been increased by Tk 2 from Tk 122 from Tk 124, the price of petrol has been increased by Tk 2 from Tk 118 from Tk 120 and the price of kerosene has been increased by Tk 2 from Tk 114 to Tk 116. These prices will be effective from today, December 1.
