Praying for the eternal peace of Begum Khaleda Zia, the BNP organized a prayer mahfil and distributed blankets among the needy in Panchlaish Thana Sholakbahar Ward.

The event was presided over by Mamunul Islam Humayun and was attended by the chief guest, Mr. Kazi Belal Uddin, Joint Convener of Chittagong Metropolitan BNP, Md. Kamrul Islam, member of the Convening Committee, as the main speaker, Mr. Former Vice President Md. Asharf Chowdhury, former JASAS leader and cultural figure Dilshad Ahmed, Shahidur Rahman Belal, Shah Alam Chowdhury, Kazi Shamsul Alam, Hasan Chowdhury Osman, Didarul Alam, leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal were present.

Special prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the soul of the late Khaleda Zia and winter clothes (blankets) were distributed among the poor and needy present.
