Power will hand over with quick elections: Dharma Advisor

Interim government religious advisor Allama Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, “We have less time, we are now going towards the elections, we will hand over the power as soon as possible.”

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the historic three-day Tafseerul Qur’an Mahfil closing day held at the Hathajari Parvati Model Government High School ground under the initiative of Al-Amin organization, the country’s traditional deen-charity organization dedicated to building a welfare-oriented society, on Friday around 6:30 pm.

Dr. Khalid Hossain said, ‘We don’t have much time, we are going towards the elections now. We will depart after handing over the power to those who will be elected by the people of the country in the elections. We have basically come to facilitate the way for those who will come to power after winning the impartial and transparent elections.

He also said, ‘The scholars and scholars of this country were in jail for the past 15 years. Hefajat Islam leaders and activists were imprisoned for years by filing false cases. When we are in power, all the false cases in various police stations against the activists in custody will be withdrawn. ‘

Addressing the scholars, he said, ‘We need to serve the scholars and stand by them. The call to prayer can still be heard from minarets in that country because they are there. We have beards and caps on our heads because there are scholars. Otherwise they would have been erased from history. They are serving the Qur’an with their labor and blood.

Allama Mufti Jasim Uddin, Maulana Mahmudul Hasan Fatepuri, Maulana Mir Kasem and Maulana Solaiman respectively presided over the said Tafseerul Quran Mahfil.

Salahuddin Ahmed, former minister and member of BNP standing committee, said in his greeting speech at Mahafil, “Fascism has lasted so long and an anti-Islam force has ruled Bangladesh for so long because we were all so divided in this country. If we were united, I would not have been a victim of disappearance, Shapla Chattar would not have been created, Bangladesh would not have been stained with the blood of so many Muslims. ‘

Allama Mufti Rashidur Rahman Farooq, Allama Nurul Islam Olipuri, Mufti Mustakunnabi Qasemi, Maulana Khaled Saifullah Ayyubi, Mufti Sakhawat Hossain Razi, Mufti Rafi Bin Munir presented tafseer in the ceremony under the direction of Muhammad Ahsan Ullah, Maulana Mahmudul Hossain and Maulana Rizwan Arman Sirajullah Madani, Mufti Sulaiman and Maulana Ismail Khan etc.
