Police will take strict action if anyone is threatened

The police will take strict action if anti-social elements threaten anyone. This information was given in a press release signed by AIG (Media and PR) Enamul Haque Sagar of the Police Headquarters on Monday.

The press release said that recently, the police have come to the notice of anti-social elements who are issuing various types of threats to people of different classes and professions in the country. Giving any kind of threat to any person is a crime in the eyes of the law. If any person is a victim of such threats, they are requested to immediately inform the national emergency service number-999 or the nearest police station.

It said that Bangladesh Police is determined to ensure the safety and security of every citizen of the country and to maintain law and order. The release also mentioned that strict legal action will be taken against them if anti-social elements threaten any peace-loving citizen.
