Plot allocation: What 3 witnesses said in court against Hasina

Sheikh Hasina and her family abused their power and allocated a 30-katha plot, violating all the laws of RAJUK. ACC officials said this on the first day of testimony in the ACC case. And to please the Prime Minister, RAJUK and related officials illegally allocated the plot to Sheikh Hasina’s family. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was allocated a plot in Purbachal by hiding it in an affidavit despite having a house in the capital. Three ACC officials testified in court against Sheikh Hasina on such allegations. On Monday (August 10), three ACC officials, the plaintiffs in the case, came to Dhaka’s Special Judge’s Court No. 5 to testify against Sheikh Hasina. They testified that RAJUK and related officials illegally allocated the plot to benefit themselves and to please the then Prime Minister. Later, ACC lawyer Sultan Mahmud said in this regard that ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina violated the RAJUK’s plot allocation policy by abusing her power. The witnesses told the court about the matter. The plaintiffs in the case testified against 47 people, including Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy and daughter Saima Wazed Putul, in three corruption cases. The court set August 26 as the next date for taking testimony in this regard.
