BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has commented that the people of the country want to vote directly for their preferred people, not proportional votes. He made these comments while participating in a road meeting organized by Dhaka District BNP on the occasion of the party’s founding anniversary in Doha on Wednesday (September 3) afternoon. At that time, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi called on the people to vote for the candidates of the Chhatra Dal panel in the DUCSU elections. Later, he participated in a rally with local leaders and activists. Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq and BNP leaders and activists of Doha and Nawabganj upazilas were present at the event. On the other hand, BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that everyone should be vigilant so that no one from the neighboring country can incite to sabotage the election. He said this at a BNP event in Hili, Dinajpur this morning. At that time, he alleged that many people were conspiring to delay the elections.
