Parliament session to resume today after Eid vacation

The first session of the 13th National Parliament after the Eid vacation is set to resume today, Sunday (March 29). The session is scheduled to be held at 3 pm at the National Parliament Building. As part of today’s parliamentary proceedings, a parliamentary meeting of the pro-government party will be held. In addition, a meeting of the Parliamentary Special Committee on Ordinances is also scheduled to be held. The Parliament session, which began on March 12, was adjourned to March 15 due to Eid-ul-Fitr and other holidays.
On the third day of the first session of the 13th National Parliament, a discussion is scheduled on the motion of thanks brought on the President’s address. Members of the government and opposition parties will participate in this discussion. In addition, a question-and-answer session for ministers and a session to raise and discuss notifications of national public importance have been scheduled. As decided by the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of Parliament, the session will continue till April 30.
