Panchagarh shivers in mild cold wave, temperature at 9 degrees.
The lowest temperature of the winter season has been recorded in Panchagarh for the last two days. Along with this, a mild cold wave is blowing. Today, Saturday, the temperature was recorded at 9 am at 9.4 degrees Celsius. Earlier, on Friday, 8.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at the same time.
Tentulia Meteorological Observatory Officer-in-Charge Jitendranath Roy confirmed the matter. He said the temperature recorded at 9 am on Saturday was 9.4 degrees Celsius. A mild cold wave is blowing. The temperature recorded earlier on Friday morning at 9 am was 8.3 degrees Celsius.
He said a mild cold wave has been blowing over the district for two days running. As there was no cloud in the sky, fog was less compared to previous days. The sun was also visible.
It has been noted that the flow of cold wind from night to morning, as a result, is one severe cold throughout the district. The percentage of people going out of doors has been found very less during that period. With the appearance of the sun afterward, some sort of relief among the people could be seen.
The Meteorological Office says, the temperature has been recorded in Tentulia at 9 am on Thursday (January 2). And on Friday, it was recorded at 8.3 degrees Celsius.
