Pakistan’s Commerce Minister in Dhaka on Four-Day Visit
Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan has arrived in Dhaka on a four-day official visit. The plane carrying him landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 pm on Wednesday (August 20). He was welcomed at the airport by the Interim Government’s Commerce Advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider was present at the time. The aim of Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan’s visit from August 21 to August 24 is to strengthen bilateral trade relations. At the same time, he will also discuss increasing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh. During the visit, Jam Kamal Khan will hold high-level meetings with senior Bangladeshi government officials and leading business representatives and explore new avenues of cooperation in trade and investment. The discussions will focus on exploring new prospects for trade and investment and removing existing barriers. Diplomatic circles hope that this visit will take economic relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh to new heights.
