Opposition MPs’ meeting

The opposition MPs held a meeting before the start of the adjourned session of Parliament. The meeting was held at 11 am today (March 29) in the opposition meeting room of the National Parliament Building.
The meeting was presided over by the Leader of the Opposition and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting was attended by Opposition Chief Whip and NCP Convener MP Nahid Islam, Opposition Whip Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan and other MPs.
According to the meeting, various discussions and instructions were given on the position and strategy of the opposition MPs in the ongoing session. The ongoing first session of the National Parliament resumed today after the adjournment. The meeting began at 3 pm in the session room of the National Parliament Building.
The previous session of the Parliament, which began on March 12, was adjourned until March 15 due to Eid-ul-Fitr and other holidays. Speaker Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed presided over the meeting held in the session room of the Parliament Building.
