Onab’s executive committee dissolved and an ad- hoc committee reformed

The executive committee of Online Newsportal Association, Bangladesh (ONAB) has been dissolved and an ad hoc committee has been formed. This decision was taken in a meeting of the executive committee held under the chairmanship of Acting President Latiful Bari Hamim at Jatiya Press Club this afternoon to make the activities of the organization more dynamic and effective. The convener of the newly formed ad hoc committee is Mustafa Kamal Mazumder, joint convener Latiful Bari Hamim and member secretary Shaheen Chowdhury.

The ad hoc committee members are Alimuzzaman Harun, Tauhidul Islam Mintu, Ashraful Kabir, Md. Mostakim Sarkar, Rafiqul Basar, Ayan Ahmed, Mohsin Hossain, Mahbuba Islam Kakali, Sakhawat Hossain Sajib and Syed Arifuzzaman.
Shaheen Chowdhury, Ashraful Kabir, Mostakim Sarkar, Ayan Ahmed, Tauhidul Islam Mintu, Mohsin Hossain and Rafiqul Basar were also present in today’s meeting of the Executive Committee. Mostafa Kamal Majumdar and Alimuzzaman Harun were present as invited members.

In the meeting, a resolution was adopted to finalize the membership list of the organization and convene a general meeting as soon as possible. General Secretary Shaheen Chowdhury informed everyone about the recently held meeting with the National Media Commission. Besides, a proposal was accepted to hold an immediate meeting with the Information Advisor and Information Secretary to implement the demands of the members.
