It is learned that on Sunday afternoon (November 23), a police team led by the officer-in-charge of Pubail police station reached the spot after receiving news of a fire in a jhut warehouse in the Kudab area of ​​​​Pubail police station. At that time, the excited crowd was recording the scene on mobile phones instead of cooperating in controlling the fire, just then the OC himself ran and lifted a big sack from the cotton warehouse on his head and kept it in a safe place. Seeing this humane behavior of the OC, everyone present helped to control the fire and remove the goods from the warehouse. Later, the fire service members reached the spot and brought the fire under control. In this regard, Pubail Police Station Molla Khalid Hossain told us, “When the fire spread in the warehouse, I requested the eager crowd to help me remove the goods from the warehouse. Since no one except 3/4 of them came to put out the fire, I asked the police members with me to handle the eager crowd. Later, I myself came out of the fire-damaged warehouse with a jute bag on my head. After that, everyone helped me remove the goods from the warehouse. Later, the fire service members reached the spot and brought it under control. Some of the equipment and goods in the warehouse were damaged.” The police officer added, “I did this not only as a law enforcer, but also as a human being.”
