No more talk, now we have to act: Tarique Rahman

Tarique Rahman was present virtually from London. Tarique Rahman himself inaugurated the program by renewing the membership.

Addressing the leaders and activists, Tarique Rahman said, ‘Now we have to work, not talk. Our huge task. With enthusiasm, initiative and patriotism, despite hundreds of disappearances, murders, torture and oppression, we did not give up against tyranny. We joined the movement to free ourselves from tyranny with millions of leaders and activists of our party. Similarly, let us start working to rebuild the party from today. ’

Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan, Salahuddin Ahmed, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Treasurer M Rashiduzzaman Millat and other leaders present on the stage also filled the party’s primary membership renewal form and paid the fee.

He also said, ‘We firmly believe that we will get the support of the people, InshaAllah. After getting the support of the people, we will also have to reconstruct the country. If we cannot reconstruct the party properly, then we will not be able to reconstruct the country. We have presented 31 points to the nation and the people of the country for the reconstruction of the country and state reforms. To implement it, the party has to be reconstructed and unified. Talented people have to be brought forward. Hardworking and honest and idealistic people have to be united.’

The acting chairman of BNP said, ‘Leaders and workers of political parties have been disappeared and murdered. Thousands of our leaders and activists have been killed and disappeared. Leaders and activists of BNP and other opposition political parties have been disappeared and murdered, tortured and maimed. Just as various sectors of the country have been destroyed, the people have been oppressed, political parties have also been oppressed and leaders and activists have been tortured and tortured. That storm has passed. After this storm, we are rebuilding the party. ’

After the storm has passed, people are rebuilding the destroyed houses, he said, ‘We have lost many colleagues in this storm. Many for political and natural reasons. Many may have left politics for various reasons. That is why we will rebuild the party. Even after so many storms, those who have sustained the party, those who have sustained the party to the common people, those who have sustained the party among the people, because of whom we are able to speak from our position – we want to unite and unify those people again. That is why today’s primary membership renewal. ’

They are with that party even today. This is how I see it, a storm has passed. A storm has swept across the entire country. It has destroyed the country. Every sector has been devastated.’
