North South University permanently expels Apurba Pal
The university administration has permanently expelled Apurba Pal, a student of North South University who insulted the Holy Quran.
This decision was taken in an emergency meeting of the university’s disciplinary committee today (September 5). Later, this information was given in a notification signed by Syed Mansur Hashim, Director of the university’s Public Relations Department.
The notification said that the university administration has decided to file a case in this incident. The police have already arrested the accused student Apurba Pal.
The notification also said that on Saturday, witnesses saw the accused student insulting the Holy Quran on the campus of North South University. Later, the university’s proctorial body and security department brought the situation under control. During this time, the general students showed extreme patience and admirably maintained an atmosphere of harmony, camaraderie and coexistence.
