No possibility of unrest on Victory Day: Home Affairs Advisor

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that there is no possibility of unrest in the country over the verdict of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is absconding in India for crimes against humanity committed in the July rebellion, and there is no possibility of unrest on Victory Day either. He told reporters after a meeting of the Law and Order Committee on the matter at the Secretariat today (November 19).
The Home Affairs Advisor said that the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs organizes Victory Day. The Home Ministry ensures law and order. This time too, everyone will be able to celebrate Victory Day properly. There has been no change in the program this time too. Only there was no parade last time, and no such incident will happen this time either. Regarding the DB police taking away the online editor of Bhorer Kagoj at midnight, he said, “I have just heard about the matter. Details will be given only after the investigation.”
