No dengue deaths in 24 hours, 55 admitted
There have been no dengue deaths across the country in the last 24 hours. However, 55 people have been admitted to hospitals due to the Aedes mosquito-borne disease during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (January 6).
Of the dengue patients in the last 24 hours, 5 people were admitted to hospitals in Barisal division, 13 in Chittagong division, 5 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 13 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 10 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 3 in Khulna division, 2 in Mymensingh division and one in Sylhet division.
In the last 24 hours, 91 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country. There have been no dengue deaths so far this year. And this year, 384 people have been admitted to hospitals due to dengue.
