New LPG price announced on Sunday

Whether the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the current month is increasing or decreasing will be known tomorrow, Sunday (January 4). The new price of LPG for one month will be announced on this day. This information was given in a notification by the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) last Thursday (January 1). It said that according to the Saudi CP for the month of January (2026) announced by Saudi Aramco, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission’s instructions regarding the adjustment of private LPG prices at the consumer level for this month will be announced tomorrow, Sunday at 3 pm.
Earlier, the price of LP gas was last adjusted on December 2. At that time, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was increased by Tk 38 to Tk 1,253. Along with LPG, the price of autogas will also be announced tomorrow. The price of autogas was last adjusted on December 2. At that time, the price of autogas, including VAT, was set at Tk 57.32 per liter after the consumer price increased by Tk 1.74.
