Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, new history will be written in the country through the next election. If anyone tries to occupy the polling station like in the past, they will be given a befitting reply. The Jamaat Ameer said this while attending the national representative conference organized at NS Kamil Madrasa Maidan in Jhalakathi yesterday (November 22).
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, their fight against all oppression, fascism and attempts to divide the nation will continue. He called on all forces to remain united for Islam without caring about the bloodshed of anyone. The Jamaat Ameer said, the upcoming election will be transparent and participatory. Here, people’s representatives will be elected through people’s votes. No kind of muscle power will be used. If any group tries to steal votes in the election, the people will resist them with strong hands.
Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim was present as a guest at the conference. He said that if the Islamic parties can unite and vote in the next election, a new history will be written in the country. In addition, Khilafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Abdul Bashid Azad, Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) Secretary General Akhtar Hossain, AB Party Secretary General Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad and BNP Central Committee Religious Affairs Secretary Rafiqul Islam Jamal, among others, spoke. The speakers said that if the Islamic political parties unite, it is possible to ensure victory in the next national parliament election. The people and the forces that believe in Islamic values ​​will determine the path the country will take.
