New date for RACSU elections set 13 days later on September 28

The date for voting for the Rajshahi University Central Student Union-RACSU elections has been set 13 days later on September 28 instead of September 15. This information was given by RACSU Chief Election Commissioner Professor F Nazrul Islam on Wednesday (August 27) afternoon. Earlier, the distribution of nomination papers for the election began for the fourth day at the Treasurer’s office from 10 am, which will continue till 5 pm. It is worth noting that the RACSU Election Commission decided to extend the deadline for distribution of nomination papers in an emergency meeting yesterday to August 31. In the last three days, 168 candidates have collected nomination papers against 23 posts in the RACSU central parliament. In addition, 19 candidates have collected nomination papers against 5 posts in the Senate and 363 candidates have collected nomination papers for various posts in 17 halls of parliament.
