NCP member secretary Akhtar receives death threats
Akhtar Hossain, member secretary of the National Civic Party (NCP) and candidate of the 11-party alliance for Rangpur-4 constituency, has received death threats on his mobile phone. He has filed a general diary (GD) in this regard with Pirgachha police station. It is learned that he was threatened and threatened with death from an unknown mobile number yesterday (February 7) afternoon. At that time, he was campaigning in Chaula Union of Pirgachha.
In this context, Akhtar said, I have been threatened with death by calling from an unknown number. This threat worries us during the election period. Currently, the prevalence of illegal weapons is widespread. We expect maximum vigilance from the law enforcement agencies. During the past fascism, we faced various threats and imprisonment. Our journey to victory cannot be stopped by doing this.
