NCP leaders meet Bhutanese Prime Minister

National Citizens Party (NCP) leaders met Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, who is visiting Dhaka. The meeting was held at a hotel in the capital today (November 23). NCP convener Nahid Islam and other party leaders were present at the meeting.
Earlier, the Bhutanese Prime Minister arrived in Dhaka on a two-day state visit on Saturday (November 22) morning. He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:15 am on a DrukAir flight and was welcomed by Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus. On the first day of the visit, two MoUs related to cooperation in the health sector and internet connectivity were signed in the presence of Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.
The press wing of the Chief Advisor said that the health-related agreement was signed by Health Department Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman. In addition, Secretary of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications Abdun Nasser Khan signed an agreement on trade in international internet bandwidth and other telecommunications services. Before signing the MoU at the Tejgaon office of the Principal Advisor, the Principal Advisor Dr. Yunus Tshering held a private meeting with Tobag. Later, a formal bilateral meeting was held.
