NCP leader shot in the head in Khulna

After Inqilab Manch spokesperson Osman Hadi was shot in the capital, now National Citizen Party (NCP) Khulna divisional chief and NCP Sramik Shakti central organizer Motaleb Sikder has been shot in the head. He has been taken to Khulna Medical College in a serious condition. The incident took place around noon today, Monday (December 22). NCP joint chief organizer Dr. Mahmuda Mitu confirmed the matter in a post on social media this afternoon. He said that NCP’s Khulna divisional chief and NCP Sramik Shakti central organizer Motaleb Sikder was shot a little earlier. He has been taken to Khulna Medical College in a serious condition.
Earlier, miscreants shot Sharif Osman Hadi in the head on Box-Calvert Road in Purana Paltan in the capital on December 12. Hadi was first treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later at Evercare Hospital in a serious condition. As his condition deteriorated, he was airlifted to Singapore on December 15 for better treatment. Osman Hadi died while undergoing treatment there on December 18. He was later brought back to the country and buried next to the Central Mosque of Dhaka University (next to the tomb of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam).
