NCP leader Sarjis leaves for Egypt
National Citizens Party (NCP) Northern Region Chief Organizer Sarjis Alam has left for Egypt. He confirmed the matter in a post on his verified Facebook ID today, Saturday (November 8).
In the post, Sarjis Alam wrote, Assalamu Alaikum. I left for Egypt yesterday (November 6) at the invitation and under the overall arrangements of Bangladeshi students studying at Al-Azhar University in Egypt.
The NCP leader also said that as part of the visit, he will stay in Saudi Arabia for the first three days and in Egypt for the next three days. During this time, he will exchange views with Bangladeshi expatriates, fellow fighters of the rebellion and well-wishers of the two countries. In addition, Sarjis Alam is scheduled to attend a meeting with Bangladeshi students studying at Al-Azhar University in Egypt.
As part of the visit, he said that he will also participate in volunteer activities for Palestinian citizens residing in the refugee camp at the Rafah border in Egypt. Finally, asking for prayers from the countrymen, Sarjis Alam said, “I am praying to you so that this visit is successful and that I can do something for the benefit of humanity.”
