NCP fields Nahid against BNP candidate

The National Citizens Party (NCP) has announced the first phase of the party’s nominees for the 13th National Parliament elections. The party’s convener Nahid Islam announced the first phase of the party’s nominees at the Banglamotor office of Dhaka-11 constituency today, Wednesday (December 10).
Initially, the NCP has announced the list of candidates for 125 seats. Dhaka-11 constituency consists of Badda-Bhatara-Rampura. The BNP candidate for this constituency is MA Qayyum. BNP announced the initial list of candidates for this constituency on November 3. Meanwhile, Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP) for the northern region, will contest from Panchagarh-1 constituency in the 13th National Parliament elections.
Panchagarh-1 constituency consists of Sadar Upazila, Tentulia and Otowari Upazilas (excluding some parts of Boda Municipality). BNP announced the initial list of candidates for this constituency on November 3. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the primary nomination of Barrister Mohammad Nowshad Zamir.
