The National Citizens Party (NCP) has finalized candidates for three more seats in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections. The party has finalized candidates for a total of 30 seats. On Tuesday (January 20) afternoon, NCP Media Cell Chief Mahbub Alam confirmed the finalization of the names of the candidates.
The candidates for the final three seats are Fahim Pathan for ‘Netrokona-2’, Pritam Das for ‘Moulvibazar-4’ and Jamil Hijazi for ‘Rajbari-2’.
Earlier, the 10-party electoral alliance led by Jamaat-e-Islami had announced an electoral agreement for 253 parliamentary seats. The Islamic Movement of Bangladesh was supposed to be in this electoral alliance. But in the end, the party did not reach this agreement and announced to contest elections on its own for 268 seats.
