NCP announces candidates for 125 seats in first phase
The National Citizens’ Party (NCP) has announced candidates for 125 seats in the first phase of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections. The party’s member secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the names of the candidates at a press conference at the NCP office in Bangla Motor in the capital today (December 10).
The party’s election management committee chief Nasiruddin Patwary has urged NCP candidates to campaign for a yes vote in the referendum. He said that the candidatures of corrupt, extortionist, and terrorist candidates who become NCP candidates will be cancelled. He also said that the rebel candidates of BNP Jamaat, but in favor of reforms, will be made NCP candidates. Their list will be published in the second phase.
