NCP announces candidate for Khaleda Zia’s seat

Ahead of the 13th National Parliament election, the National Citizens Party (NCP) has announced the names of primary candidates for 125 seats. Among them, the party’s district convener AHM Shamsul Muktadir has received the NCP nomination for the Dinajpur-3 seat. BNP has announced Khaleda Zia’s name for the same seat.
At a press conference held at the party’s temporary office in Bangla Motor in the capital at 11 am today (December 10), party member secretary Akhtar Hossain announced the candidates. Khaleda Zia’s candidate for this seat is Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s candidate Advocate Mainul Alam. Although NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari had earlier said that the party would not field any candidate for Khaleda Zia’s seat.
