Nation will be proud of upcoming elections: Chief Advisor

The 13th National Parliament elections to be held next February will be peaceful and festive. The nation will be proud of this historic election, said Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He made these remarks at the closing ceremony of the National Defense Course and Armed Forces War Course-2025 at Mirpur Cantonment on Wednesday (December 3) morning. At the time, the Chief Advisor praised the security of the country and the armed forces in various disasters.
Addressing the course graduates, Muhammad Yunus said that the knowledge and experience acquired through years of dedication and perseverance will play an effective role in national development, policy formulation and strategic decision-making. He mentioned that the National Defense College has been established as a center of excellence in security and development-related research. The institution is playing a due role in preparing skilled leadership to face national and international challenges in a rapidly changing global context. At this time, the Chief Advisor sought prayers from the countrymen for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.
