Mysterious bus fire in Dhaka at midnight
Various mobs set several buses on fire in the capital at midnight. On Monday (November 10), miscreants set three buses on fire in the capital at midnight. Two buses of Raida Paribahan and one bus of Rajdhani Paribahan were burnt.
A private university bus caught fire in front of LabAid Hospital in Dhanmondi in the capital last evening. Two units of the fire service were informed around 7:30 pm and brought the fire under control. At around 1:30 am, miscreants also set a bus on fire in Jatrabari. Various incidents of vandalism, including setting vehicles on fire, have been taking place in various parts of the country including the capital for the past few days. The police are investigating these matters.
Meanwhile, two cocktail explosions took place in front of the head office of the Jatiya Nagorik Party NCP at around 11 pm. Four people were injured in this. NCP leaders and workers caught two suspects while they were fleeing. The NCP leaders and activists present alleged that the cocktail explosion incident was carried out to create havoc surrounding the Awami League’s lockdown program, which was banned on the 13th.
