Mrs. Rubaiyath Ara FCA is the new Independent Director of Peoples Insurance Company Limited

For the information of the respected shareholders that in the 447th Board of Directors Meeting of Peoples Insurance Company Limited, the Board Members have appointed Mrs. Rubaiyath Ara FCA as an Independent the Director of the Company. It was effective from the date of approval by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission. At the same time, the Board of Directors nominated her as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. She holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the National University. She is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. The Board Members of the Company believes that her audit experience and accounting expertise will strengthen the company’s financial sector, while her inclusion on the Board will safeguard the interests of the shareholders.
