MoU signed between UITS and Bdcalling IT Limited
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), the first information technology and science-based private university established in Bangladesh, and Bdcalling IT Limited, a subsidiary of Betopia Group.
At the MoU signing ceremony organized on 8 January 2026, Thursday at 11:00 am, the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Mr. Al-Imtiaz, and the AGM of Bdcalling IT Limited, Mr. Rony Saha, signed the agreement.
The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan, took the seat as the chief guest at the ceremony. The Treasurer of the University, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Registrar Mr. Mohammad Kamrul Hasan and Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Engr. Md. Safayet Hossain.
The two-year agreement will see regular hands-on workshops for students on various topics including mobile app development, web development, UI/UX design, digital marketing, as well as internship opportunities with real client projects, industry visits to Betopia Group affiliates, preferential job opportunities, on-campus recruitment and strengthening mutual cooperation as an education-industry partner.
This collaboration reflects UITS’ strong commitment to building effective bridges between education and industry to develop skilled human resources in line with the needs of Bangladesh’s growing digital economy.
