Motorcycle used in attack on Hadi identified, owner arrested

The police have identified the motorcycle used in the attack on Osman Hadi. The police have also arrested the owner of the motorcycle, Abdul Hannan, from Mohammadpur. The police gave this information in a text message today, Sunday (December 14). Meanwhile, digital investigative media outlet The Descent claimed that the driver of the bike carrying Faisal Karim Masud, the main suspect in the shooting incident on Osman Hadi, has been identified.
The media outlet reported that the name of the driver of the bike carrying Faisal Karim Masud, who shot Osman Hadi, is Alamgir Hossain. His Facebook ID is Mohammad Alamgir Sheikh. He regularly used the name ‘Sunibid Housing’ in the capital’s Adabor area in the geotag of Mohammadpur in his Facebook posts.
Descent also reported that the identity was confirmed by comparing several photos posted on Alamgir’s Facebook profile with some of Hadi’s public relations photos taken on December 5 and 12. He was also present at Hadi’s election campaign in the Shilpakala Academy area on December 5.
