More than 300 US troops injured in Iran war
US Central Command (US Central Command) said that more than 300 US troops have been injured since the start of the war with Iran. US Navy Captain Tim Hawkins said that about 303 US troops have been injured since the start of ‘Operation Epic Fury’. Most of them have minor injuries and 273 have already returned to duty.
A US official, who did not want to be named, told AFP that 10 soldiers were still in critical condition. According to the latest information, another 13 US soldiers have been killed in the war. Seven of them lost their lives in the Gulf region and six in Iraq.
On the other hand, in a separate announcement on Friday, the Iranian military said that hotels where US troops are staying will also be considered targets. Military spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi told state television, “When all the American troops are in a hotel, it becomes an American base in our eyes.”
Meanwhile, the Iranian government has not yet released its latest casualty figures. However, a US-based monitoring group reported on March 23 that some 1,167 Iranian soldiers have been killed in the war and the whereabouts of another 658 are still unknown.
