More than 200 MPs urge UK government to recognise Palestine

A total of 220 UK lawmakers have written to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to recognise Palestine as a state. More than half of these members from nine political parties are Labour Party MPs. After an emergency phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Starmer said that even if Palestine is recognised as a state, it will be part of a larger plan.
