Miscreants cut off a cow’s tongue in Trishal, Mymensingh. On Tuesday evening (October 14), unidentified persons entered the cowshed of farm owner Hormuz Ali and cut off the cow’s tongue and threw it in a bucket.
According to local sources, the cow is five months old. Tension and anger arose in the area after the incident came to light.
The cow’s owner Hormuz Ali said that after evening, I suddenly heard the cry of a cow from the cowshed and ran away. When I went, I saw a cow with a bloody face, no tongue and thrown into a nearby bucket.
He called the incident inhuman and brutal and demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the culprits.
Local BNP leader Ilias Ahmed said that they are investigating whether a gang of thieves from the area did this. It is believed that they did this act out of enmity.
