Mirza Fakhrul went to see off Khaleda Zia.
BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is going to the UK for better treatment. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir entered her Gulshan residence at around 6:15 pm on Tuesday to bid farewell.
BNP furnished this information in a press release today. “Begum Khaleda Zia will leave for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from her Gulshan residence at 8 pm tonight,” the release mentioned. She would reach the airport at 9 pm and from there, leave for the UK at 10 pm by a Royal Qatar Amari ‘Air Ambulance’.
The air ambulance carrying her will reach Heathrow Airport in the UK at 10 am tomorrow, Wednesday, Bangladesh time. She will be received there by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
