Mirza Fakhrul admitted to hospital due to illness

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been admitted to a private hospital in the capital after feeling unwell. The BNP Media Cell confirmed that he was admitted to the hospital at around 1 am on Tuesday (August 19). BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said that Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned to the country after completing treatment from Thailand at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday (August 19) evening. He then attended a meeting in Gulshan until 11 pm. At that time, he was taken to the hospital when he felt unwell. BNP Standing Committee Member Professor Dr. AZM Zahid took him to the hospital. There, the BNP Secretary General was admitted to the hospital under the supervision of Professor Dr. NAM Momenuzzaman. He is currently under close observation by doctors.
