Minimum temperature in Chuadanga is 7 degrees
A moderate cold wave has started in Chuadanga. The minimum temperature of the current season has been recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius. The Chuadanga Meteorological Office recorded this temperature at around 6 am today, Tuesday (January 6).
Chuadanga Meteorological Officer Senior Observer Zahidul Islam said that a mild cold wave had continued in Chuadanga for a few days. The temperature was fluctuating between 8 and 10 degrees. The minimum temperature in the district was recorded at 6 am today. The humidity in the air was 93%. The temperature has decreased by 1.7 degrees Celsius in a day.
Meanwhile, people are feeling severe cold due to excessive cold. Cold wind and fog are making the cold more felt. Due to the moderate cold wave, hard-working people are facing extreme hardship. The common people are not leaving their homes unless necessary. The cold wind is blowing like ice. Due to which severe cold is being felt.
Due to the low temperature of the day and night, it is feeling even colder. It is becoming quite difficult to escape the cold even with extra warm clothes. Animals and birds are suffering from the cold. Due to the severity of the winter, the number of cold-related patients has started increasing in Chuadanga Sadar Hospital and Upazila Health Complex. Children are more affected by diarrhea.
