Milad and Doa Mahfil for the deceased and injured in the warplane crash at Milestone School and College at UITS.

Milad and Doa Mahfil was organized at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) today, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, after Zohar, on the university campus, seeking forgiveness for the souls of the deceased and speedy recovery of the injured in the Bangladesh Air Force warplane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka. The doa was conducted by Mr. Md. Hasan Imam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering. The mahfil was attended by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan, Honorable Treasurer, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. M. Rabiul Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Dr. Faruk Hossain, Head of the Department of Business Studies Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, teachers-students and officials-employees of the university.
The entire country is observing a state mourning today, Tuesday, in the wake of the Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College. The national flag has been flown at half-mast at UITS on the occasion of state mourning.
