On World Human Rights Day, the Amir called on all humanitarian states, institutions and organizations in the world, including the United Nations and the European Union, to immediately stop the war, uphold human rights, and take effective steps to solve the problem of Palestine.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also said that December 10 is World Human Rights Day. On this day in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. In 1950, the United Nations declared this day as World Human Rights Day. Since then, this day has been celebrated as Human Rights Day around the world.
