Masud arrested in Khulna on charges of wife murder
Rab has arrested Masud Molla (35), the main accused in the murder case of his wife Chandni in Khulna. On Saturday (August 30) night, a special team of RAB-6 conducted a raid in Arpara area of Shalikha upazila of Magura and arrested him based on secret information. The arrested Masud Molla is the son of Munnaf Molla of Boyra Islamia College Road area of Sonadanga police station in Khulna. Masud is accused of brutally beating his wife Chandni to death on the night of August 26 and fleeing. Masud was made an accused when the victim’s family filed a case in this incident. He has been absconding since the incident. Rab said that the organization has been conducting regular raids to arrest the accused in various sensational cases in the country. In continuation of this, Masud Molla, the main accused in the Chandni murder case, has been arrested. Later, he was handed over to Sonadanga police station for legal action.
