Mastermind of Rajshahi railway station attack arrested from Chuadanga
The railway authorities have filed a case in connection with the attack and vandalism at the railway station. Acting station manager Shahidul Islam filed the case with the Rajshahi Railway Police Station on Tuesday night.
Police arrested a man named Sumon Ahmed on Tuesday midnight. He was identified after monitoring CCTV footage and was arrested in Chuadanga based on information from the RMP Cyber Unit.
Rajshahi Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Faisal Ahmed said that the Rajshahi Railway Station Authority has filed a case on behalf of the railway authorities in connection with the attack and vandalism at the Rajshahi Railway Station. An unknown person has been named as the accused in it.
Meanwhile, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Abu Sufian said that Sumon Ahmed, the mastermind of the vandalism at the Rajshahi Railway Station, has been arrested. He was arrested from Chuadanga at night based on information from the RMP Cyber Unit. After the arrest, Sumon was handed over to the Railway Police Station. He will be sent to court today.
