Mastermind of primary assistant teacher recruitment question leak arrested

A fraudulent gang is extorting money from primary teacher recruitment job seekers by luring them to give them question papers. Many job seekers are being cheated by the lure of receiving question papers on WhatsApp or Messenger after paying money through bKash or Nagad. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested the mastermind of such a fraudulent gang. 90 percent of the questions in the primary assistant teacher recruitment exam are advisory. The PSC was alerted after seeing such a flashy advertisement on social media. The agency immediately informed the CID to investigate the matter. Later, the CID was called to investigate the complaint. At a press conference today, Wednesday (September 3), the agency said that a fraudulent gang is extorting money from numerous job seekers by luring them to give question papers for only Tk 200 to Tk 1,600 through mobile banking under the guise of advice. A person named Ataur Rahman has been arrested for his alleged involvement in this. CID Additional DIG Zahidul Islam said, “Exclusive arrangement suggestions are sent to WhatsApp and inbox along with PDF copies of the question papers. Money is being given to Bikash in exchange for the question papers. We are analyzing Bikash’s statement. Some people’s suggestions went to their inbox and some people’s suggestions went to WhatsApp. After analyzing the investigation, we have confirmed that this accused is involved in cheating with question papers. In the press conference, the PSC Examination Controller requested job seekers not to fall into the trap of such fraudulent circles. CID is investigating those involved in this circle.
