Mamata Benerjee said, I am ready to resign
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee is likely to meet the agitating junior doctors of the state. Later, at a press conference at Nabanna, the state secretariat in Kolkata, mamata benerjee said she was willing to resign. And the protesters don’t want justice, they want power.
According to Indian media reports, the junior doctors have been on a hunger strike in front of the Kolkata Health Building since Tuesday in protest against the RG scam. Earlier, Mamata Benerjee wanted to meet them for two consecutive days. But the doctors decided against it. They wanted the meeting to be broadcast live. And 30 delegates from among themselves wanted to go to Nabanna. However, the state government has objected to this.
Mamata Benerjee, who could not hold a meeting even today, said in a press conference that she could not solve the problem even in three days. I apologise to the people of Bengal. I forgave those who came before noon, but they did not come to the meeting. I’ve been insulted a lot. My government has been humiliated. A lot of misunderstandings and misunderstandings. People don’t understand color. I am ready to resign but they don’t want justice. I want a chair, I hope people understand that.
Mamata benerjee also raised the issue of the Supreme Court’s order from the Nabanna meeting. “As per the Supreme Court’s order, time has passed. As far as I know, the Supreme Court has said that they will not stop the state from taking action, but I will not do anything. So far, 27 people have died and 7 lakh people have been deprived of treatment.
“If the junior doctors still want to sit, then the chief secretary and other officials of Nabanna should sit and listen to them. He, however, said the issue was not discussed at the moment.
