Mahmudullah Riyad admitted to hospital after contracting dengue

Former national team captain and experienced all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad has been admitted to hospital after contracting dengue. He had been suffering from fever for the past four days. Later, his tests revealed that he had dengue. Currently, his physical condition is improving slightly compared to before.
His wife Jannatul Kawsar confirmed the matter in a post on social media today, Thursday (October 30). She shared a picture of her husband on social media, where Mahmudullah is seen lying on a hospital bed.
Jannatul Kawsar wrote, When Allah loves someone, He tests him with danger. Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah is very merciful. Everyone will pray for him (Riyad) – Allahumma Barik Lahu.
