The cat returned home after being lost for 1000 miles

A pet cat has returned to its owner nearly 1,000 miles away after getting lost in Yellowstone National Park. It took the cat two months to recover from the loss. After seeing the microchip attached to it, an animal welfare organization delivered the cat to the owner’s home.

According to CNN sources, the two-and-a-half-year-old cat named Raine Bau (Rainbow) is owned by Susanne and Benny Anguano. They are from Salinas, California.

Suzanne said the cat went missing two months ago. A beloved cat has been returned with the help of an animal welfare organization after becoming lost more than 900 miles away.

The rainbow went missing from a fishing bridge in Yellowstone National Park last June 4.

    Rainbow

Benny Anguano said, ‘Rainbow was lost on the first day of the tour. My husband is a true hero in my field. Every day he went to the nearby forest to look for the cat. We had to return without Rainbow with a heavy heart. It was a very sad day for us. But he never gave up hope of getting the pet back.

The cat-loving couple adopted another cat a month after losing Rainbow. That cat is also Rainbow’s own sister.

61 days after it went missing, the animal welfare agency got word that their cat had been found. From that organization, it is said that everyone will see the benefits of putting microchips on the pet’s body.

Within two months, the cat’s condition had deteriorated.

“After being contacted by a woman who had found our cat, I begged her to keep a close eye on her for a few days, and finally Rainbow came back after traveling nearly 1,000 miles,” Benny said.

The couple has no idea where and how Rainbow spent all these days after she went missing. But they are very happy to get their beloved pet back.
