Letter sent to Foreign Ministry to bring Sheikh Hasina back: Home Affairs Advisor.
Home Affairs Advisor to the interim government, Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, said, “A letter has been sent to the Foreign Ministry to take necessary steps to contact India to return Sheikh Hasina. She can be returned only as per the extradition agreement.”
He said this at a medal presentation ceremony on the occasion of BGB Day at the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) headquarters in the capital’s Peelkhana on Monday.
At the time, the Home Affairs Advisor said that an investigation commission has been formed to uncover the real reasons for the brutal and brutal killings at the then BDR headquarters in the capital’s Peelkhana on February 25 and 26, 2009.
He said, “A 7-member investigation commission has been formed into the BDR mutiny incident. The chief advisor signed it on Sunday night.’
