Legal notice to Amir Hamza to reveal the identity of the person who offered a bribe of 50 crore taka

A legal notice has been sent to Mufti Amir Hamza, a member of parliament from Kushtia-3 (Sadar) constituency and Islamic speaker, to make public the names of those who offered a bribe of 50 crore taka to close Kushtia Medical College. Yesterday, Wednesday (April 1), a person named Md. Hridoy Hasan sent this notice through Kushtia Judge Court lawyer Abdul Majid. He has been asked to respond within seven days of receiving the notice.
It is said that the names of those who offered a bribe of 50 crore taka to close Kushtia Medical College should be made public or they should be handed over to the law.
The notice mentions that Mufti Amir Hamza has recently claimed in various public meetings that he was offered a bribe of 50 crore taka within three days to keep the activities of Kushtia Medical College closed. He rejected the offer and said that even if the entire Kushtia was given to him, he would not budge from his position. His statement was circulated on various media and social media platforms on February 27.
The notice also said that this legal action has been taken with the aim of building a corruption-free country after the matter came to light on social media on March 27. Attempts were made to contact Mufti Amir Hamza regarding this matter, but he did not respond.
