Kuwait Airways plane door collapsed at Shahjalal International Airport

The door of a Kuwait Airways plane broke at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.

The door of the KU-283 flight broke when the boarding bridge-6 suddenly went down at 2:20 pm on Tuesday. The flight was landing in Dhaka with passengers from Kuwait at 1:30 am.

An airport official said, usually when there are passengers or cargo on the plane, the position of the plane is slightly pressed down. After the passengers disembark, the plane rises slightly when the plane’s load is reduced. After the passengers of this flight disembarked, the plane rose slightly, but the boarding bridge remained down. As a result, the plane’s door completely broke when it hit the bridge.

It is learned that only the pilot and cabin crew were inside the plane when the door collapsed. The captain of the flight was Azbali Mohammad, a citizen of Kuwait.
